This synopsis has been sitting in a queue since 2011 for that reason, but I finally got annoyed enough with the time wasted to push it out, even with the shoddy scans at hand.

Stories like these were clearly the reason why George Perez cast Steve Trevor out in the mid-80s, and he continued to do penance in limbo for decades thereafter. I'm happy to see a stronger, more sympathetic version of the guy trying to make good while reclaiming his place in the DC Universe. These days, I prefer reading Trevor comics over Diana ones.Diabolu Frankhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04685199809207954223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8608317781914932095.post-57546726937604141662013-07-17T14:20:27.165-05:002013-07-17T14:20:27.165-05:00I have all the Showcase editions of vintage WWs, p...I have all the Showcase editions of vintage WWs, plus the Amazon Princess hardcover which came out several months ago, and this story fits the mood of that time perfectly. Silly monsters, myths that don't hold up to scrutiny [well, its the early Silver Age, we can dream its authentic!] and Steve Trevor acting the sex pest over Wonder Woman. Honestly, the stunts he pulls back then to try and get her to marry him [and give up being a hero, so he dosent feel so much a failure presumably]. If the modern day Trevor acted like this, hed be accused of sexual harassment, the nuiscance he was.
On the plus side, this was a fun story, as most WW were of that era, with a quick ending that makes little sense but still feels satisfying.karlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07814365568280298681noreply@blogger.com
