As a kid, I loved this pin-up so much I actually went out and bought a second copy of JLA #195 so I could remove the centerfold and hang it on my bedroom wall. (I couldn't bear removing pages from my only copy of a JLA/JSA team-up issue!)
Yes, it was a double-page spread in the middle of the comic, wasnt it [if I remember correctly, I havent seen the comic for years, buried deep in my collection] on slightly glossier paper.
Exactly as ya'll described. I think that it was also reprinted in one of the Justice League of America by George Perez hardcovers.
