2012 “Wonder Woman vs Clayface” commission by Brent David McKee

“As soon as I found Brent's work I knew I had to have a piece. His brushwork can be so delicate and dynamic. There's also something Paul Pope-esque in his approach that I find very appealing. Wondy is 11x17.”
I wanted to post something kind of scary for 6-6-13, although I think this is more icky than anything else. Brent McKee is a fantastic artist that I'd love to get art from-- but maybe not Wonder Woman art, as he gets a little pervy with the Amazing Amazon on "Saturday Post" (Swallowing Robin's banana). Plus, there's the whole Hell Yeah Superman + Wonder Woman stuff that makes me supersick. He offers one mean Martian Manhunter, though.

Merciful Minerva, what a ... weird picture, don't know what to make of it. And that teeny tiny tiara...just creeps me out, really.

I really like this piece, it reminds me of the sixty's era. I love the way the women looked. It has that type of feel.
